Performance events include:
Christmas Concert, SH MACS Fine Arts , Jr. High MACS Fine Arts (9th graders only), Spring Concert, and Senior Graduation
The dress regulations for the orchestra are the same as that of CBA choirs and bands.
CBA’s chamber ensemble is designed for string players already enrolled in JH or SH string orchestras. These students must maintain a high level of musicianship.
Music learned and prepared will be of sacred and classical repertoire. These ensembles will be the ones who are prepared to play music for special CBA events or playing gallery/prelude music before special concerts. This also allows the string players to have thorough preparation for competing with their duet or string quartet in MACS.
Grading is based off of participation and performance.
Performance events include:
Evangelistic Services, Christmas Concert, Friendship Reception, Sr. MACS Fine Arts (9th -12 graders), Jr. High MACS Fine Arts (7th – 9th graders), Spring Concert, and other various ministry opportunities
Additional performances may be added by the director throughout the year
